At St Teresa’s we use the ‘Talk for Writing’ approach to enhance our teaching of literacy skills for all children from nursery to year 6. This is where children orally learn to retell rhymes, poems, stories and extracts and use this in their writing process. Our aim is for children to experience a rich and broad range of written materials to develop their love of literacy.

World Book Day 5th March 2020

As this is The Year of the Word, we celebrated, living and sharing the word of God, in the Bible. The Bible shows us how to understand the world - how we are called to live and relate to each other.
