Please find below information regarding the admission process for St Teresa's School. Please take the time to read the Admissions policy which will explain how places are allocated.  

Reception Admissions September 2024

Applications for school places in Reception for September 2024 are for children born between 1/9/2019 and 31/8/2020.

 

Dates for tours for prospective parents of children starting Reception in September 2024 are:

  • Thursday 9th November 9.15am - 10.15am
  • Wednesday 13th December 9.15am  - 10.15am

Please contact our school office to book a place on a tour. 

 

How  to apply for a school place for Reception 2024

To apply for a Reception place for September 2024, register and apply on-line with Hertfordshire admissions by 15th January 2024  www.hertsdirect.org/admissions  

 

You must also complete and return to the school office our Supplementary Information Form along with your child's original baptism certificate and Certificate of Catholic Practice (if your child has been baptised and regularly attends church) by 3pm Monday 15th January 2024.

The Certificate of Catholic Practice must be obtained from the priest at the parish where you normally worship.  

 

Please note forms can be hand delivered to our school office between 9.30am and 3pm or applications can be emailed to admissions@stteresas.herts.sch.uk 

 

In Year Admissions 2023/2024

From 1st September 2023 applications for In-Year admissions are to be made directly to the the Local Authority using their online form which can be found here: In year admissions – change school during the year | Hertfordshire County Council
In addition, a Supplementary Information Form (SIF) and proof of address should be submitted to the school as well as a Certificate of Catholic Practice, if you wish to be ranked as a practicing Catholic.

 

St Teresa's welcomes families from all faiths but preference is given to practising Catholic Families as per our Admissions Policy.
