Admissions

A very warm welcome to St Teresa's,

Please find below information regarding the admission process for St Teresa's School. Please take the time to read the admissions policy which will explain how places are allocated. 

In order for your application to be considered you must apply on-line with Hertfordshire and provide the school with a completed copy of the Supplementary Information Form (SIF)  20/21 (for in year admissions) and supporting documents (if applicable). Please see below more information on in-year admissions.

Due to Covid-19 we will be unable to hold prospective visits to our school.  Please visit our pupil learning pages where you will see photo's of some of the fun learning activities the children participate in during the school day.

St Teresa's welcomes families from all faiths but preference is given to practising Catholic Families as per our admissions policy 2021/2022.

Reception Admissions September 2021

To apply for a Reception place for September 2021, register and apply on-line with Hertfordshire admissions   www.hertsdirect.org/admissions 

You must also complete and return to the school office our Supplementary Information Form 2021 -2022. (SIF).  Along with your child's original baptism certificate and Certificate of Catholic Practice (if your child has been baptised and regularly attends church) .

We will then process your application and issue you a receipt to confirm what paper work has been received.

Please note forms can only be processed by the office between 9.30am and 3pm

 

  ** Due to Covid 19 we are accepting completed SIF's and copies of the baptism and Certificate of Catholic Practice by email admissions@stteresas.herts.sch.uk.  Confirmation of receipt of the documents received will then be emailed back to you,

St Teresa's Admissions Policy 2021/2022

For application to be considered you must apply on-line with Hertfordshire and provide the school with a completed copy of the Supplementary form and supporting documents (if applicable)


Certificate of Catholic Practice must be obtained from the priest at the parish where you normally worship.

In year admissions

If you have moved into the area and would like to apply for a place at St Teresa's you must register with Hertfordshire admissions www.hertsdirect.org/admissions  and then complete our supplementary information form (SIF), returning it to the school office via email.

If your child has been baptised,  please also attached a copy of your child's baptism certificate and supporting letter from the church. For Catholic families this is called a Certificate of Catholic Practice (CCP).
