Home Packed Lunches

If your child does not want a school dinner then please provide your child with a healthy home packed lunch ( pls see ideas below).

As we are a nut free school all packed lunches must be nut free. Therefore we do not allow Nutella, peanut butter or any spread that may contain nuts. Some cereal bars may contain nuts so please check ingredient lists on all packaging before putting anything in your child's lunchbox.

No fizzy drinks (preferably water only)  although we do allow squash/juice in a refillable bottle. Children who have cartoons of drinks often do not finish the whole carton and this ends up being thrown away.

If your child needs cutlery for what you have given please provide it e.g. yoghurts, pasta, rice etc.

We do not allow sweets or bars of solid chocolate they are allowed a biscuit bar covered in chocolate e.g. Kit Kat, Twix.

We encourage our parents to pack at least one portion of fruit and/or vegetables.

If you are providing grapes in your child's lunch box please can these be be cut in half to  prevent a chocking hazard

All Children in KS1 and KS2 are allowed to bring in one piece of fruit to eat at break time.
